Writing

Your work is safe, even when the connection isn’t

A window in Koobe asking “Restore unsaved changes?”: changes to “Your First Balcony Vegetable Garden” didn’t reach Koobe before the page closed, and the browser kept a copy. Buttons: Discard and Restore.

If your changes can’t be saved because the connection dropped, the tab closed or you signed out, Koobe keeps a copy in your browser. It offers that copy back the next time you open Koobe.

  • Signing out saves your latest changes first, and asks if anything still hasn’t saved.
  • When something can’t load, Koobe says so and gives you Try again, instead of an empty list.
  • Problems show a warning sign, never a tick.
  • Ran out of credits part way through a book? After you top up, Resume writing picks it back up.
“Files were ready for KDP, which is what I actually needed. First book I’ve finished.”
Luca Ferraro · First-time author, Milan
